Sandal weather may be behind us, but it’s never a bad time to add an extra touch of exfoliation to your pamper routine. An exfoliating foot scrub is one of the few things that sets a salon pedicure apart from one at home- so why not save the money and elevate your at-home pedi game by making one yourself? This DIY Foot Scrub is deceptively easy to make and will leave your feet feeling soft and flake-free.
What You’ll Need:
2/3 Cup of Sugar
½ Cup of Organic Coconut Oil
8-10 Drops of Peppermint Essential Oil
1-2 Tsp. of Dried Herbs
Step 1: Add your sugar to a glass bowl with your Coconut Oil and combine with a spoon.
Step 2: Add in your Peppermint EO and dried herbs like lavender, chamomile, rosemary (if you don’t have herbs, empty a tea packet – we love green tea for this). And mix into your Scrub.
Step 3: That’s it! Once everything is well combined you’re ready to use your scrub. We recommend using the scrub pre-polishing your nails, after soaking your feet in warm water to soften your skin. Massage your scrub on damp feet, concentrating on dry areas like your heels, then rinse off.
All done! Time to slip into cozy winter socks and preserve your newly softened feet ✨
